Relation between Understanding Students Differences and Effects of Home Background on Educational Development of Secondary School Students

Well, we meet again, today we are going to discuss about the relationship between Felder's Journal and Chikweru's Journal. Of course, we all know that they have discussed indeed a very different matter, but in truth, writer did not picked out second journal just because of simple curiosity; there are connection which makes both journal is very related towards student academical performance which writer personally wished that this 2 journals will create a new perspective on students. Why they are doing this? Why they are like this? Why, Why, and Why, anything that is happening on your students, you can understand them even more by simply reading the two journals.

First Journal : Understanding Students Differences

This journal simply is all about the development of the students itself, without considering external factors which caused them become them. To put it simply, This journal just simply elaborate 3 main points which are:
  • Learning styles
  • Learning orientation
  • Intellectual development
The journals properly elaborated each meaning of 3 points, learning styles is how students properly learn, learning orientation is why students want to learn, and intellectual development is all about how students construct their own knowledge. However, as we have said before, this journal has not able to elaborate why learning styles, orientation, and intellectual development of each students are different? Which of course, brought writer to another research journal titled as  Effects of Home Background on Educational Development of Secondary School Students

Second Journal : Effects of Home Background on Educational Development of Secondary School Students

The curiosity why students are so unique and why we have variety of them could be explained by their own unique home background. Their economy status, how much brothers and sisters do they have, the social status of their parents, the intelligence of their parents, those are why students have their own differences; which of course no wonder it would be challenging for us if we want to understand them one by one properly.

Uniquely, writer can draw conclusion from this journal which is :
A singular children who has a very competent parents is having a greater chance of success academically rather than children who has brothers or sisters.

Well, that is the brief discussion that writer could bring for today, if you are so interested on reading them, don't forget to visit writer's previous articles and check them on your own.

Good luck!
